Slaughter and packaging takes place in the modern unit of BIOGRECO at Kaminia, Laconia with capacity 1200 chickens/hour. The whole processing and transport procedure (slaughter-production-packaging-storage- refrigeration-freezing-transportation) is certified according to the standard FSSC 22000:2011, which is one of the strictest certification schemes globally and includes the ISO 22000 standard.

Sophisticated facilities and mechanical equipment along with skilled staff assure excellent processing conditions so as the final product to be guaranteed and safe.

The products are stored in chilling and freezing rooms with continuous recording of temperature and alarm systems. Respective systems are also installed in the means of transport. In this way it is absolutely certain that BIOGRECO’s products will reach the consumer in excellent condition.

BIOGRECO’s products are available only packaged. On each package it is indicated the producer’s name, the European code of the slaughterhouse and the packaging plant, the certification code, the expiry date, the net weight, the price (where necessary) and the barcode.
